Grandmommie

Virgie & Grace is dedicated solely to my creative expression in every facet.  The name may seem odd, but it stems from women very dear to my heart - my grandmothers. I prefer  'Grandma' and 'Grandmommie' but that's neither here nor there.  Two very different women, lifestyles, and personalities; yet jointly they possess every quality of what I one day hope to embody: kindness, class, intelligence, compassion, independence, humility and success in all areas of life.  I could rattle off the attributes I associate more strongly with one than the other; but I'll spare you that and just compare their individuality and characteristics to the symbolism of the yin and yang:

(Per Wikipedia) Yin and Yang is used to describe how seemingly opposite or contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world; and, how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one other.  They are actually complementary, not opposing, forces, interacting to form a whole greater than either separate part.

Thus, the inspiration for my blog title.  Hope you enjoy! :)
